Aarson Anaerobic Culture Jar

The anaerobic culture jar is entirely made of metal and follows a modified Macintosh and field pattern design.

Jar and Lid

The jar itself is made of stainless steel.
The top lid is also made of stainless steel and is complete with two valves. These valves are used to connect to hydrogen and vacuum supplies, respectively.

Sealing Mechanism:

The lid is sealed by tightening a clamp that secures it in place.
The lid is cushioned on a rubber "O" ring, which helps in creating an airtight seal when the clamp is tightened.

Additional Components:

The jar includes a catalyst, likely used to maintain the anaerobic environment required for culture.
It also comes with a semi-Lucas indicator, which helps in monitoring the anaerobic conditions.
A stainless steel rack is provided to hold 100mm diameter petri dishes.
There is a gauge included to measure both pressure and vacuum levels within the jar.
